DG's Birthday Party & Fan meeting 2007

This is the news i've got from Adonis Int'l website ..

JDG is currently working on the next movie to take part in and we would like to let you learn the good news that you have been waiting for a long tome.

We have started to prepare the annual JDG's fan meeting for next year. We held JDG's fan meetings in Korea; however, we would like to change the venue from Seoul to Tokyo, Japan, next year.

The following is the information of the fan meeting.

Date: Thursday, 8th March, 2007
Time: 7:00p.m. - 9:00p.m.
Venue: Budokan in Tokyo, Japan
Participants: Jang Dong Gun and guests
Entrance Fee: Free

* The way that we provide the tickets will be announced through the website of Adonis International around the middle of December.

We would appreciate if you are interested and in support of the DG's fan meeting next year.

Singer Sung Shi-kyung was envied by other entertainers because of JDG.

Sung Shi-kyung exchanged phone numbers with JDG when they met by chance in an occasion. Sung Si-kyung thought that JDG asked his phone number just for courtesy, but then JDG sent him a message "Let's have a drink together sometime", indicating that JDG considered him as a friend.

Many fellow entertainers showed their interest in Sung Si-kyung's story, "I want to know JDG's phone number", "Where is the place that I can accidentally meet JDG?" and "Let's call JDG to have a drink together".

It clearly shows that JDG’s popularity among entertainers is very high.

Note: This article is the backstage report of SBS TV Show ‘New Xman’ broadcasted on 12 November… in the show there’s a game in which 2 teams competed on “whose entertainer phone number they have that can make everyone surprised”… comedian Kang Ho-dong proudly said ‘Bae Yong-joon’, he was sure that it would be very hard to beat… but then singer Sung Shi-kyung said he had JDG’s phone number… apparently MC of the show -- popular comedian Yoo Jae-suk -- and other participants were interested to know how Sung Shi-kyung got the number…

Ok Ju Hyun pada acara program TvN “ Ok Joo-hyun’s Like A Virgin” tgl 14 November mengklarifikasikan gosip hubungannya dengan JDG.

Ketika ditanya oleh pemirsa "Apakah gosip tentang hubungan dia dengan JDG benar ?" Ok Joo-hyun menjawab "Sebenarnya saya menunggu seseorang menanyakan tentang hal ini. Saya tidak pernah bertemu dengan JDG dimana pun dan saya tidak pernah nge-date dengan dia. Pacar saya tidak seperti JDG. Saya tidak mengerti mengapa gosip kesalahpahaman ini muncul ? mungkinkah saya seperti pacarnya JDG ?"

Ok Joo-hyun mengatakan bahwa dia sudah membaca berita mengenai gosip dia dan JDG pacaran ini di internet. Karena itu pada kesempatan ini dia ingin mengklarifikasikan semuanya. Dia mengatakan "Saya minta maaf, gosip seperti itu bisa menghancurkan JDG. Saya bersumpah atas nama orang tua saya, ini sama sekali tidak benar."

Netizens selected Jang Dong-gun and Jung Woo-sung as the most suitable Korean actors to play the roles of Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon in movie ‘Departed’.

In the polling that was conducted by on-line portal site Empas from 8th to 15th November, more than half of the total 334 participants selected Jang Dong-gun and Jung Woo-sung. Netizens gave comment that their looks, acting abilities and charisma are no inferior to Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon's.

JDG and JWS are followed by Ryu Seung-bum and Hwang Jung-min of 'Bloody Ties' and Kang Dong-won and Jo In-sung are tied 2nd place, each pair got 68 votes.

The result of survey on ‘The 1st come to mind Brand’ (TOM: Top of Mind) conducted by The Institute for Industrial Policies Study (IPS) to 1000 consumers from 20 to 60s nation-wide was reported at 28 November. The result for individual brand sections:

Male athlete: Lee Seung-yub (baseball player)
Female athlete: Pak Se-ri (golf)

Male Singer: Rain
Female Singer: Lee Hyo-ri

Male Actor: Jang Dong-gun
Female Actor: Lee Young-ae

Male comedian: Yoo Jae-suk

JDG was also voted No 1 brand power for male actor category in last year's survey conducted by the same agency.
